In place of our usual in-person worship, we will be observing a Sunday Service Workday. While we will not gather in person at the church, we will still have the opportunity to worship together—our virtual service link will be emailed out Sunday morning and also posted on our Facebook page.

This Sunday, we are invited to come together in support of a meaningful cause. Our service project will be participating in the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk in partnership with the University of Georgia, supporting suicide prevention and bringing hope to those in need.

For those who would like to take part, you are invited to join our walking team or make a financial donation using the link below:

Event Details:
Location: Tate Plaza, 45 Baxter St., Athens, GA
Check-in: 10:00 AM
Walk Begins: 11:00 AM

Whether you join us in person for the walk or participate in worship from home, we are grateful for your continued heart for service, compassion, and community. Together, we can make a difference.

For anyone who may be unable to travel to Athens, we are pleased to offer an opportunity to participate right here at the church. As we prepare to host the Northeast Georgia Out of the Darkness Walk this coming October, we will be working together to update and refresh some of our event signage.
Tables and supplies will be set up in the church narthex (the hallway just outside the sanctuary), and we invite you to join us there at 10:00am. This is a wonderful way to contribute to an important cause while staying close to home, and all are welcome—no special skills required.
We truly hope you will consider joining us in one of these meaningful opportunities to serve. Your presence and participation make a difference.
